A musical journey through French Impressionist delicacy and contemporary emotion.

This concert brings together some of the most outstanding musicians on today’s classical music scene for an evening celebrating the beauty of wind instruments and piano. The programme combines the elegance and refinement of Debussy and Ravel with the deeply evocative sound world of Max Richter, one of the most influential composers of our time.

The evening will culminate with two masterpieces by Francis Poulenc: the exquisite Sonata for Flute and Piano and the brilliant Sextet for Wind Instruments and Piano, a vibrant score bursting with energy, colour and Parisian spirit.
