The Sant Pau Festival welcomes the Franz Schubert Filharmonia to the Palau de la Música Catalana with a program full of energy and emotion, under the direction of Tomàs Grau and featuring the renowned pianist Arsenii Moon as soloist.

The concert opens with Alexey Shor’s Piano Concerto No. 1, a contemporary work of great expressive power that engages in dialogue with the classical tradition. This is followed by the brilliant Rhapsody on a Rachmaninov’s Theme of Paganini, a dazzling display of virtuosity and musical intensity.

The evening concludes with the Tchaikovsky’s Suite Romeo and Juliet, a work rich in lyricism and drama that captivates the listener from the very first bars.
