About the festival

The Sant Pau International Chamber Music Festival is a new cultural project in the heart of Barcelona. The historic Hospital de Sant Pau—one of the city’s most iconic landmarks and a UNESCO World Heritage Site—becomes the stage for a series of world-class chamber music concerts.

Over ten days, the festival brings together some of today’s most exceptional musicians, including Daishin Kashimoto, Alexander Chaushian, Joaquín Riquelme, María Florea, Jing Zhao, Lucas Macías Navarro, Vicente Alberola, Uxía Martínez, and the Franz Schubert Philharmonia. Artists of this level are rarely available for an extended project like this—this is a truly exceptional gathering made possible through personal connections and a shared passion for chamber music.

More than a lineup of concerts, this is a living artistic residency. Musicians stay in the city, rehearse together, and build a musical journey that unfolds across the entire festival. The audience is invited to follow this journey, discovering how each performance links to the next in an evolving conversation of sound and emotion.

Born from friendship and artistic affinity, the Sant Pau Festival is a celebration of beauty, connection, and presence. Whether you're a passionate music lover or curious to experience chamber music for the first time, this festival offers a rare opportunity to hear extraordinary artists in an equally extraordinary space.
